Slightlykilld Releases New Song “Rotation”

London-based rock duo Slightlykilld, consisting of Polina Morgun and Kirill Bogdanov, released a new song “Rotation” on September 26, 2025.
The song is the follow-up to “Green Lights”, which was released last December. Also, it is the first release as the duo.
The duo recorded the track with producer Ian Davenport at Courtyard Studios in London. On the track, Polina Morgun and Kirill Bogdanov played all instruments, including drums, bass, synths, and guitars.
It was written by Kirill Bogdanov, and Polina Morgun. The accompanying music video was directed by Slightlykilld themselves.
The duo said of the song, “'Rotation' explores how patterns can feel safe while keeping us still-calling comfort what is really stagnation. The lyric speaks to loops in love, work, and daily life: the small circle of doubt, apology, and trying again the same way. The ferris-wheel title is both image and warning: repetition can look like height. The song tracks the moment you realise the view hasn't changed; dizziness becomes clarity, but even then, leaving the loop isn't simple. The final line “Gravity keeps me close to you, and now it's getting worse”- lands heavy, acknowledging how hard it is to break away, even when you know you should.”- They continued, “It's also the first track we recorded fully as a duo. Slightlykilld began as a four-piece back in Russia, but when we - Polina and Kirill - moved to London, we had to rebuild everything from scratch. That decision to leave a familiar orbit and start again became part of the emotional DNA of this song. 'Rotation' is for anyone who's outgrown the orbit they're in - but still feels the pull.”
