Perrie Releases New Song “Miss You”
British singer-songwriter and former Little Mix's member Perrie released a new song “Miss You” on September 19, 2025.
The song is fifth and final pre-release single from her upcoming self-titled debut solo album, which is set to be released on September 26, 2025.
It is a soaring ballad with her gorgeous vocals and piano unlike the previous songs.
The track was written by British singer-songwriter MNEK, Perrie Edwards, Rosie Danvers, and Tre Jean-Marie, who also produced it.
Perrie said of the song, “I know you lot love, want, and NEED a ballad, so here's your moment. Enjoy Miss You”.
Ahead of releasing the album, she will perform at La La Room in London on September 23, 2025.
She said, “I'm going to do a La La Room experience from a studio in London, hopefully have some guests. I'm going to be listening to the album with you for the first time, exclusively before it comes out. So we can have a right little intimate moment, and I'm going to perform for you as well, because I thought, why not do a few acoustic songs or perform for you. Just make it really fun.”- The debut album comprises 16 tracks, produced by Alfie Russel, Andrew Goldstein, Colin Brittain, Johnny McDaid, Jon Bellion, Joy Anonymous, Mark “Spike” Stent, The Nocturns, Steve Solomon, Tenroc, Tré Jean-Marie and Will Reynolds.
She recorded the album at her home studio and had pretty much finished the album last year, but reworked it from scratch, keeping only two songs.
Perrie said of the album, “At the end of last year I was feeling so much pressure to release music and move quickly. I wasn't happy and didn't feel like the music I was releasing was right. During one of my therapy sessions, my therapist said if you're not happy just take away that pressure and stop for a bit. She was right and I decided to press pause on my music. I went back in the studio and spent time writing songs that were totally authentic to me and about subjects that were close to my heart, without the pressure of having to hit a release date. I absolutely love the album I have created and I'm really proud of it. This is the music I want to make and I'm super excited to release it.” - source : Apple Music
