  • Poppy, Amy Lee & Courtney LaPlante Team Up for New Song “End of You”

  • Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Poppy, American rock band Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee and Canadian heavy metal band Spiritbox lead singer Courtney LaPlante teamed up to release a new song “End of You” on September 4, 2025.

The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
This marks the first time Poppy, Amy Lee and Courtney LaPlante have worked together.
The track originated from an idea between Poppy and former British rock band Bring Me The Horizon member Jordan Fish.
Jordan Fish has produced Poppy’s 2024 album “Negative Spaces” and the 2025 collaborative song “Hand That Feeds” with Amy Lee and American singer-songwriter Halsey.

Poppy told NME about the song, “I knew he was friends with Amy, and I thought she would really be a great person to meet and get to talk to. It was mine and Jordan’s idea to start with, and then we thought, ‘What if we made our version of a dark Moulin Rouge, like ‘Lady Marmalade’?”

The track was written by Amy Lee, Courtney LaPlante, Jordan Fish, Mike Stringer, and Poppy. Produced by Jordan Fish.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jensen Noen and filmed in Los Angeles.
  • Poppy said “It’s more of a universal message. I don’t want to classify it, but I know what it means to me. Watching the video of all of us together, it feels strong and powerful: ‘Imagine the things they can do when they’re united!’ It’s grounded in strength.”

Amy Lee said, “For me, it’s about taking on the patriarchy. In order to make way for the new, we have to let some old ways die, and I don’t feel that should be as hard as it is. I love change, and things can stand to definitely get a lot better than they are right now. It’s about challenging the norms and showing how strong we are when unified as women.”

Courtney LaPlante said, “Instead of just dreaming about it, Poppy really went for it and made it happen. Instead of half-assing it, Amy went full out and crushed it. All I can do is rise to the occasion and show them the respect they deserve, that they have also shown to me.”
