Will Linley Releases New Song “Up At Night”
South African singer-songwriter Will Linley released the third single “Up At Night” from his pcoming debut album “Don't Cry Because It's Over”on August 22, 2025, following “First Love” and “Cinematic”.
The album is set to be released on September 5, 2025.
The track was written by Alex Borel, Colin Foote, Jackson Foote, and Will Linley. Produced by Jackson Foote, Colin Foote, and Alex Borel.
The accompanying music video was directed by Eliot Lee, as with previous video for “First Love”.
Will Linley said of the song, “Wrote this one with the best crew Jackson Foote, Colin and Alex at the end of a three day writing camp. Nothing was sticking on the third day and we almost threw in the towel until Jackson went inside to collect some “end of writing camp” beers and Alex started singing the melody of what later became the chorus. We wrote this chorus at Jackson's outside table on an acoustic guitar and quickly ran back to the studio to get the verses in. The words fell into our laps and suddenly our favourite songs to date was born.”- He continued, “We then sat with it for months until I finally finished it earlier this year with them back in LA. This song is so fun, it's meant for dancing around your bedroom or screaming it in the car. I loved this song farrrrr too much for it to just be a song on the album, I knew it needed to be a single the moment we made it!! Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it!!”

The debut album comprises 12 tracks, on which Will Linley worked with executive producers David Balshaw and Bubele Booi in Los Angeles.
Will Linley said of the album, “I couldn't be more proud of this project and I cannot wait for you to listen through and discover the world we've created around this album.
