  • Caskets Releases New Song “Sacrifice”

  • British post-hardcore band Caskets, consisting of Matthew Flood (vocals), Benjamin Wilson (lead guitar), James Lazenby (drums) and Craig Robinson (rhythm guitar), will release their upcoming third studio album “The Only Heaven You'll Know” on November 7, 2025.

The album comprises 11 tracks, produced by Zach Jones, KJ Strock. It is their first album in two years since the 2023 album “Reflections”.
From the album, the band released a new song “Sacrifice” on October 3, 2025.
The song is the fourth single off of the album, following “Closure”, “The Only Heaven You'll Know”, and “Make Me A Martyr”.
It was written by Benjamin Wilson, Craig Robinson, James Lazenby, Joshua Adam Strock, Matthew Flood, and Zachary Allen Jones. Produced by Zach Jones, KJ Strock.
After the release of the song, the band was nominated for the Best Metal Performance category for their previous song “Closure” at The 68th Annual Grammy Awards. The ceremony will be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 1, 2026.

The band guitarist Craig Robinson said, "It's surreal - we started out playing small local venues, and now we're nominated for a Grammy. It's an incredible feeling to represent York and the UK metal scene on such a massive stage."
  • The band frontman Matthew Flood said of the album, “'The Only Heaven You'll Know' is the sound of me falling apart in real time. Every song is a confession. About love that rots you from the inside, about pretending you're okay when you're drowning, about trying to find peace in a world that makes you feel nothing. 'The Only Heaven You'll Know' isn't about salvation - It's about surviving the wreckage when it never comes. Grieving the parts of myself I had to bury just to cope, doing anything I could to block out the noise. This record isn't a cry for help, it's me trying to make sense of the chaos around me, and find a way through to the other side. These songs are my scars, proof I made it through, even when I thought I was doomed.”

  • He said of the Grammy-nominated song “Closure”, “Closure speaks about the breaking point in a toxic cycle, that moment when you realise the answers you search for will never come. Then having to walk away knowing there will always be this cell of wonder and confusion clouding your mind. This song talks about coming from a place of asking 'Won't you stop me at all? I wonder whether we're both to blame'. Being caught up in lies, deceit, fighting battles you have no actual interest in winning, just yearning for answers, for reason to the madness. I've learnt that closure sometimes doesn't come from the words or actions of others, but from finally saying it's over, it's okay, and walking away.”
