  • American singer-songwriter Leah Kate released a new single “ACT II: Too Hot To Learn My Lesson”, including two songs “Not To Be Dramatic” and “Alice in Fuck Boy Land” on October 3, 2025.

The single is the follow-up to “Act I: It Doesn't Take A Genius (To Ruin Everything)”,
Two song will appear on her upcoming sophomore album “Genius”, which is set to be released on November 7, 2025.
Leah Kate said, “I'm so happy. This chapter of the GENIUS era is finally living in the world and I truly couldn't be more dramatic about it (shocker). Not To Be Dramatic + Alice in F-Boy Land are the two songs holding down Act II.”
“Not To Be Dramatic” was written by Leah Kate, Liam Benayon, Mags Duval, and Slush Puppy. Produced by Andrew Goldstein and Slush Puppy.

Leah Kate said of the song, “I wrote not to be dramatic on the beach in Hawaii with my favs Mags Duval, Slush Puppy, Liam Benayon. I wrote this song about those moments where you're literally OBSESSED with someone.... To the point where you'll do something completely dumb + self-destructive just to get their attention. It's literally my bad-decisions but make it cinematic anthem. we shot this video 5 days ago and somehow finished it for tonight!!! This one is soooo special to me. She's chaotic and dramatic in every way (shocker lol).”
  • “Alice in Fuck Boy Land” was written by Bryan Fryzel, Leah Kate, and Lowell Bolland. Produced by Frequency.

She said of the song, “Consider alice in f-boy land my autobiography lol. I wrote this song with my ogs Lowell Bolland and Bryan Fryzel. fun fact we wrote this for Alive and Unwell, but my label didn't let me put it out, they hated it ;) so I'm so happy it's finally seeing the light.”

  • The new album comprises 13 tracks, produced by Andrew Goldstein, Frequency, Nick Ruth, Slush Puppy and Zach Skelton. It is her first album in two years since the 2023 debut album “Super Over”.

Leah Kate said of the album, “My dissertation on bad decisions. Every meltdown, every wrong turn. This project means the world to me and I can't wait for you to finally have it.”
