Raphaela Releases New Song “Bittersweet”
Lebanese-Canadian singer-songwriter Raphaela released the second single called “Bittersweet” from her upcoming debut EP “Muse” on September 5, 2025.
Written after a dream reignited a long-forgotten summer romance, the song holds space for the kinds of love stories that leave their mark even when they fade.
It was written by Raphaela Rita Nehme, and Josh Bogert, who also produced the track.
Raphaela said of the song, “'Bittersweet' captures the essence of a true love that can’t last beyond the moment it exists in - for one reason or another. But instead of mourning it, you choose to hold it gently, to cherish it for exactly what it is. That delicate balance - knowing something is fleeting yet unforgettable - is what makes it both so fragile and so special. That’s the beauty of it - it doesn’t have to last forever to mean forever to you.”- She added, “I’ve been holding on to this song for so long, and I’m so happy it’s finally out in the world. Bittersweet is the ultimate right person/wrong time bop - I hope it makes you daydream about the one who got away.”
The debut EP is set to be released later this year.
