Beta Trip Releases New Song “On My Mind”
Toronto-based singer-songwriter Steve Lewin, aka Beta Trip will release his upcoming debut album “Superette” on September 25, 2025 via Having Fun and We Are Busy Bodies.
The album comprises 10 guitar-forward tracks that balance cinematic arrangements with Britpop textures and '90s alt-rock grit.
“Superette” offers a small variety of goods with some independent charm.
The album was entirely written, performed, and produced by Steve Lewin.
From the album, he released a new song “On My Mind” on July 25, 2025.
The song is the second single off of the album, following “Juliet” released last month.
It was written and produced by Steve Lewin.
Originally written as a quiet acoustic piece, the track gradually builds into something far more powerful.- Steve Lewin said of the song, “The song achieves a large dynamic payload with supporting instrumentation to bring its intimacy from emotional ballad to forceful drive. This sound is embodied throughout the entire album as 'On My Mind' became the benchmark sound and reference point throughout the production of Superette.”
