Marshmello & Jelly Roll Team Up for New Song “Holy Water”
American DJ Marshmello teamed up with American country music singer-songwriter Jelly Roll to release a new song “Holy Water” on August 8, 2025.
This marks the first collaboration between Marshmello and Jelly Roll. But it is not for the fist time Marshmello collaborated with country music artist.
But in the past, he collaborated with American country music singer-songwriter Kane Brown on the 2019 single “One Thing Right”.
The track was written by Danny Majic, Jason Deford, Justin Franks, Kameron Alexander, Marshmello, and Ryan Vojtesak. Produced by Marshmello, Charlie Handsome, Danny Majic, Frank E.
Marshmello said of the song, “It’s really heartfelt. This is one of the most emotional songs I’ve ever released. It’s about losing a loved one. Unfortunately, a lot of us can relate to that. When I showed the initial idea to Jelly Roll and told him the story, he loved it. He’s an open book, and it was really great to see how it resonated. It inspired me to go in even more on the production and get creative with the country elements. He definitely brought it home to where it is now.”- He added, “This song means a lot to me and is something that l’ve been working on for a long time. Grateful that Jelly Roll shared the vision.”
