Anne-Marie Releases New Song “DEPRESSED”
British singer-songwriter Anne-Marie released a new song “DEPRESSED” on September 19, 2025.
The song is her first solo music since the 2-track projects “Act I: If You're Looking For A New Best Friend” and “Act II: If You're Looking For A Reason To Key Your Ex's Car”, which were released back in April.
As the single, it is the follow-up to the collaborative song “LUV?” with Manchester-based rapper Aitch.
The track was written by Anne-Marie Nicolson, Grace Barker, Henry Tucker, and Ryan Linvill, who also produced it.
The accompanying music video was directed by Benji Gershon.
Anne-Marie said of the song, “A song for the depressed crew! Hope this makes you feel a little less alone when you listen to it. And hopefully it puts a smile on your face too. I can't help but write songs about what I'm going through in my life and seems as though a lot of people feel the same. Let's dance and cry and laugh all at once.”- She continued, “This month has been a WHIRLWIND of emotions but this has ironically made me feel so so happy and heard. Scream it whenever you need it, wherever you are, whoever you are.”
