Chet Faker Releases New Song “Inefficient Love”
Australian singer-songwriter Chet Faker released a new song “Inefficient Love” on September 10, 2025.
The song is the follow-up to “Far Side of the Moon”, which was released back in July.
It was written by Nicholas James Murphy. The accompanying music video was directed by Clancy Walker.
Clancy Walker said of the song, “‘Inefficient Love’ was one of those songs that beamed in from somewhere. I was sitting on my couch at home watching a show and start playing the guitar and just played the whole song in about five minutes. It feels old and I love it.”
