Mimi Webb Releases New song “You Don't Look At Me The Same”
British singer-songwriter Mimi Webb released a new song “You Don't Look At Me The Same” on August 15, 2025.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming sophomore album “Confessions”, following “Love Language” and “Mind Reader” with Meghan Trainor.
The album is set to be released on September 12, 2025 via Epic Records.
The track centers on the quiet unraveling of a once-close relationship.
It was written by Amelia Webb, CASTLE, Connor McDonough, Riley McDonough, Ryan Daly, and Toby McDonough. Produced by Connor McDonough, Riley McDonough, and Ryan Daly.
Mimi Webb said of the song, “'You Don't Look at Me the Same' is the most vulnerable song I've ever released. It's written from the perspective of a child, telling the story of two people you love who are no longer on the same page – and you slowly watch them grow apart. Writing this was incredibly therapeutic for me, and I hope it brings the same sense of comfort and understanding to anyone who listens.”- The new album comprises 12 tracks and was written and produced between Los Angeles and London.
It is her first album in two years since the 2023 debut album “Amelia”.
She said of the album, “I dug deep and figured out what I want to say not just as an artist, but as a person. I decided to be brutally honest. It's easy to be like, 'Everything is wonderful' - even when there's so much happening behind the curtain. I wanted to open up and scream, 'This is who I am!'.”
She added, “This album has been 2 years in the making and I really can't believe we are here right now.. Truly my whole heart is in on this one, every little crack and healed wound is inside this album.” - source : Apple Music
