Marshmello & Hudson Westbrook Team Up for New Song “Better Man Than Me”
American DJ Marshmello teamed up with American country music singer-songwriter Hudson Westbrook to release a new song “Better Man Than Me” on September 26, 2025.
This marks the first collaboration between Marshmello and Hudson Westbrook.
In the past, Marshmello has collaborated with country music singers, such as the 2024 track “Miles on It” with Kane Brown and “Holy Water” with Jelly Roll last month.
For Hudson Westbrook, the song is his third collaboration of 2025, following “Bad Reputation” with Grant Gilbert and “House Again” with Miranda Lambert.
The track was written by Grady Block, Hank Compton, Jamie McLaughlin, Logan Garrett, Marshmello, Ryan Vojtesak, Starlito, and Will Keating. Produced by Marshmello, Charlie Handsome, Jamie McLaughlin, Will Keating, Grady Block, and Hank Compton.
The accompanying music video was directed by Emma Kate Golden.- Hudson Westbrook said of the song, “Marshmello has such a specific vibe - it’s been fun to collaborate with him because this song is so different from anything else I’ve ever done. I’ll always be true to my Texas roots, so I brought that with me on this track. It’s been stuck in my head for months, happy for y’all to have it.”
