Nemo Releases New Song “Hocus Pocus”
London-based Swiss singer-songwriter Nemo released the sixth single called “Hocus Pocus” from his upcoming debut album “Arthouse” on September 19, 2025.
The album is set to be released on October 10, 2025 via Better Now Records.
The song is a playful love song, weaving self-reflection, empowerment, and romance into a groovy rhythm laced with spooky sound effects.
It was written by Fridolin Walcher, Hight, KIDDO, and Nemo Mettler. Produced by Nemo Mettler, Sacha Rudy, and Liam Maye.
The accompanying music video was directed by Alex Ostrohliad, as with the previous music video for “God's a Raver”.
Nemo said of the song, "It's about the power some people have over you. You're completely bewitched by this mysterious person. Sometimes only metaphorically, but in this case, maybe more than that...”- He continued, “I was influenced early on by artists like Michael Jackson, Prince, David Bowie, and Björk. Both musically, but also in terms of the admirable ease with which these legends expressed themselves creatively. Without the influences of these icons, my music wouldn't exist. 'Hocus Pocus' could also be seen as a homage to all those who create their own worlds with their art.”

The debut album comprises 14 tracks, featuring a guest appearance from MIA GLADSTONE. Produced by Benjamin Alasu, Cameron Gower Poole, Cecile Believe, Jez Ashurst, Liam Maye, Nemo, NYLAN, NYLAN, POM POM, Sacha Rudy, Tom Oehler and Wojciech Kostrzewa.
Nemo said of the album, “During the recording process, I learned to show myself as I am. It's about feeling myself and finding out how I feel best. When you radiate this contentment and this naturalness, pure magic happens - also in interpersonal relationships. You find the right people who see you as you really are.” - source : Apple Music
