JORIS & Picture This Team Up for New Song “Heart over Head”
German singer-songwriter JORIS and Irish pop-rock band Picture This teamed up to release a new version of “Herz über Kopf”, entitled “Heart over Head” on August 15, 2025.
This marks the first collaboration between JORIS and Picture This.
The song will appear on JORIS's upcoming album “Hoffnungslos Hoffnungsvoll (10 Jahre Edition)”, which is set be released on December 12, 2025.
The album is the 10th anniversary of his 2015 debut album “Hoffnungslos Hoffnungsvoll”.
The original version of the song was released by JORIS as his debut song from his debut album in 2015. This time, they recorded the new version in English.
It was written by Joris Buchholz, Maximilian Hesselbarth, and Niko Stegmiller. The new version was produced by Simon Klose.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jimmy Rainsford.
They first performed at Musikpavillon Planten un Blomen, in Hamburg, Germany on August 5, 2025.- Picture This said of the song, “Late spring in a studio in Berlin: the three of us (Jimmy, Joris & Ryan) met with an idea to give a German song a little Irish taste... a few hours later we knew it would become much more than that.
