Two Friends Releases New Song “Trouble” featuring maryjo

Los Angeles-based DJ duo Two Friends, consisting of Eli Sones and Matthew Halper, teamed up with American singer-songwriter maryjo to release a new song “Trouble” on September 26, 2025.
This marks first collaboration between Two Friends and maryjo.
Initially, the duo was supposed to release the song in January or February 2025, but they could not find a vocalist who fit the song. They finally found out maryjo on TikTok as the vocals.
The track was written by Eli Sones, Kyle Reynolds, maryjo, Matt Halper, Michael Fatkin, and Rachel Salvitt (Zohara). Produced by Two Friends and Michael Fatkin.
The duo said of the song, “We're absolutely buzzing that 'Trouble' is finally out in the world. This one has been living in our sets for months and the response has been unreal. Working with maryjo was such a cool experience. Her voice brought the song to life in a way we couldn't have imagined. We played the song across our entire Heatwave Tour and even premiered it in Big Bootie Mix Vol. 26. 'Trouble' has already built its own little story before release and we couldn't be more excited to unleash it.”
maryjo said, “I couldnt be happier i got to work & become buddies with these two talented humans Two Friends, Michael Fatkin, Kyle Reynolds, Rachel Salvitt absolutely slayed creating & writing this song, and im so grateful they let me take a jab at singing it!! To the mooooon.”- The duo said, “So we got a new song called 'Trouble'. We basically finished up the song. It was supposed to come out in January or February 2025. But then what happened? Everything went to shit. Then it was supposed to come out in May 2025. We are playing it on our tour every single night, the Heat Wave Tour. We even did it live right as we are about to get this release date. The feature says, I don't wanna be part of this song... That sucked. We were not happy. With that said we rolled with the punches and then one day, I was scrolling TikTok, and I heard a voice with maryjo, and we're like, This girl would sound amazing on Trouble. maryjo was the absolute homie. Loved the song and was so down to put her spin on it. Then it turned out even better than the original. All happy endings. I can't believe the song's even coming out to be honest.”
