  • Robbie Williams Performs “Human”, “Something Beautiful” & “I Could Be So Good For You” on BBC Radio 2 Piano Room

  • British singer-songwriter Robbie Williams appeared on BBC Radio 2 Piano Room to perform “Human”, “Something Beautiful” and a cover of Dennis Waterman's “I Could Be So Good For You”.

“Human” is his latest song, which was released this month, from his upcoming thirteenth studio album “BRITPOP”.
The new album is set to be released on October 10, 2025 via Columbia Records.
The track is written about AI. Robbie Williams said of the song, “We are being told that we're all about to be replaced, and we need clothes and we need food, so there's a chance that we will be removed. Whether it's a prophecy, we shall see. It's a song about what we've been told about AI.”
“Something Beautiful” was released as the third single from his fifth studio album “Escapology” in 2003. The song reached No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart.
“I Could Be So Good For You” was released by British actor Dennis Waterman in 1979. It was the theme tune of British TV series “Minder”.
  • On BBC Radio 2, Robbie Williams takes us back 30 years, as he reflects on a different Glastonbury in 1995.
Robbie Williams said, “This is gonna sound insane now, in this modern day era, but a boyband member turning up at an event like Glastonbury was - had never been seen before. And it was like oil and water. Somebody that was considered so naff, and uncool, and lily-white could walk into the barepit of militant indie-nness. It was quite arresting for the mind for people, and included mind too. I did feel like a massive, massive outsider. There was a begrudging non-acceptance of my spirit and body being at Glastonbury in 1995. It was my mini act of rebellion. Rebellion towards Take That, because we weren't allowed to do those sort of things, as remarkable as that sounds. And it was my rebellion against the NME, Select Magazine, Melody Maker, whatever magazine was out at the time. In my own little way, I suppose it was punk.”
