Cat Burns Releases New Song “There's Just Something About Her”
London-based singer-songwriter Cat Burns released a new song “There's Just Something About Her” on September 26, 2025.
The song is the fourth single off of her upcoming sophomore album “How To Be Human”, which is set to be released on October 31, 2025 via RCA Records.
It is the vibrant alt-pop track. As with the previous song “All This Love”, it was written by Cat Burns, Gez O'Connell, and Jordan Riley. Produced by Jordan Riley and Rob Milton.
The new album comprises 16 tracks, produced by Jordan Riley, Rob Milton, Jonah Summerfield, and KurisuBren.
It is her first album in over a year since the 2024 debut album “Early Twenties”.
Cat Burns said of the album, “My second album 'How To Be Human' is almost out in the world and I'm so excited. I wanted to share my experiences with grief, heartbreak and new beginnings, and I hope that it helps people feel less alone and safe. But also more confident, and to celebrate queer joy even more with a flirtier song here and there perhaps. I can't wait for you to see the new set list, the visuals and everything I've been working on for tour. Cat Burns said, “This genocide needs to end. So many lives lost, so many souls with hopes and dreams taken from us in the most heartbreaking of ways, we mustn't get desensitised to seeing this, and we must remember it's a privilege to feel overwhelmed and helpless, to just turn off our phones when we don't wanna look anymore.
