Mansionair Releases New Song “The Way You Move In Me”
Sydney-based electro-pop trio Mansionair, consisting of Jack Froggatt (vocals/guitar), Lachlan Bostock (produce/keyboards) and Alex Nicholls (drums), will release their third studio album “Some Kind of Alchemy” on October 10, 2025 via Sony Music Australia.
The album is their first body of work in three years since the 2022 album “Happiness, Guaranteed.” and comprises 10 tracks.
From the album, the band released a new song “The Way You Move In Me” on August 15, 2025.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “Lose Yourself Again” and “ATLAS”.
It was written by Lach Bostock, Alex Nicholls, Alexander Burnett, and Jack Froggatt. Produced by Mansionair.
The band said of the song, “This song is a testament to the unwavering love in the most intimate relationships. It captures the feelings when we are in the present with that love, as well as those when we are apart. It speaks to the deep code of connection in our hearts and that necessity to be near the love that shapes who we are.”
They added, “Some threads never break. Not with distance. Not with time. 'The Way You Move In Me' is about that invisible line that keeps us connected to the ones that shape us.”- The new album was entirely written and produced by Mansionair themselves for the first time.
The band said of the album, “The whole album is based on how we are in relationship to other people [and] other places. We very rarely exist in isolation. It was our search for the balance between holding on and letting go. We made this record with a desire to distill and perfect the very essence of what Mansionair meant to us. It was a beautiful challenge that somehow managed to flow between us, and we couldn't be prouder of it.” -
