Ella Eyre Releases New Song “hell yeah”
London-based singer-songwriter Ella Eyre released a new song “hell yeah” on September 30, 2025.
The song is taken from her upcoming sophomore album “everything, in time”, which is set to be released on November 21, 2025.
A track born during a time under her previous label, Ella takes on a familiar, defiant all-guns-blazing attitude in a retro soul-tinged song that finds itself lyrically-conflicted between the head and the heart.
It was written by Ella McMahon, Max Wolfgang, and Sylvester Sivertsen. Produced by Sly and Jungleboi. The accompanying music video was directed by Priya Ahluwalia.
Ella Eyre said of the song, “'hell yeah' has been a fan-favourite for a while and I'm SO happy it's finally time to share it. It's an upbeat, fun depiction of a wilder time in my early twenties when leading with my head and not my heart was a humorous battle. We've all been there when we can't resist something, and this song is a punchy reminder to not let our occasional questionable choices weigh us down. I can't wait to sing this one loud with the crowd on my tour in December.”- The new album comprises 15 tracks, featuring collaborations with Tiggs Da Author and Jay Prince.
It is her first album in a decade since the 2015 debut album “Feline”. Also it is the firs release as as an independent artist.
Ella Eyre said of the album, “My second album is coming a whole decade after my first album, 'Feline'. It feels so surreal to be writing this because the journey up to this point has been nothing short of long, some may say painfully long and for most of that time I would have agreed but now I whole heartedly believe it was necessary, hence the title.” -
She continued, “I'm a textbook aries, that might not mean anything to some so in other words - patience isn't my thing - I'm extremely impulsive and desperately anxious to advance at all times so 10 years is a torturous lifetime to me... but waiting, making, finishing and delivering this album has taught me so much about patience and finding beautiful peace in the process to let time tell... well, everything.” - source : Apple Music
