Electric Litany Releases New Song “Reciprocate”
London-based post rock band Electric Litany, consisting of Alexandros Miaris (vocals/guitar), Richard Simic (drums), Jason Tsontilis (synths), George Alevizakis (bass) and George Botis (producer), released a new song “Reciprocate” on September 12, 2025.
The song is the second single off of their upcoming fourth studio album “Desires”, which is set to be released on October 17, 2025.
The band has already filmed a music video, directed by Denise Moreno, which is coming soon.
Hallmarked with Alexandros Miaris's distinctly ghostly falsetto, it's a love song with its back against the wall and that pits itself against the odds.
Sonically, it blends the traditional sound of the Persian santoor with electronic elements, synths, bass, and minimal rhythms.

The band lead singer Alexandros Miaris said of the song, “Lyrically, the track speaks of liberation, truth, and the quiet resilience of love - that “only love can save your heart, and sometimes that's enough.”- With the entire record recorded at Fish Factory Studios, London, additional recordings were laid down at Caledonian Road Studios, London and Dada Studios and Byron Studios, Athens.
