Lachie Gill Returns With New Song “Give Me A Little”
Australian singer-songwriter Lachie Gill returned with a new song “Give Me A Little” along with a music video on August 4, 2025.
It is his first music in a year and a half since the EP “Write It Out”, which was released in November 2023.
The track was written by Lachie Gill and Thom Mak. Produced by Andy Mak.
Lachie Gill said of the song, “Wanted to be honest with you about the last year and a half... has been a very challenging period of my life but I’m so happy to be feeling myself again and back to doing what I love. I have been sitting on this song for a while (March 2024 is when I wrote it) and from the first day we came up with the idea, I knew it was going to be the first song I released on this new project. It encapsulates everything I am as an artist. It’s real, raw, emotional but also has a cool upbeat vibe to it.”- He continued, “Over a year and a half...I have missed it so so much. From November 2023 when I last release music to now so much has happened. A lot of cool things I did some traveling but also a lot of shitty things. When through a bit of a rough patch with anxiety and panic attacks which is something I hadn't dealt with before. I think I was putting a lot of pressure on myself to be at a certain place with my music and achieve this success that I hadn't yet got. It's a scary place to be in and I worked through it and spent a lot time doing that. And I managed to stay on top on my anxiety haven't had a panic attack for a while now which is great. I think part of that is getting back to what I love which is writing music and putting music out.”

He added, “I think I got stuck in a bit of a trap thinking that because I wasn't releasing music that people didn't care or wouldn't care about me and might move on their next favorite artist. But after putting these tears out for this song and giving you guys a date of when it going to be released. The love has been amazing. It's been like I've never left and I wanna thank you guys for that for sticking around for supporting me. I really do hope that love 'Give Me A Little' and if you don't I'm sure you're gonna love one of the songs to follow. Just make me so happy to know that these songs are finally coming out.”
