  • Joey Valence & Brae Premieres New Song “SEE U DANCE” featuring Rebecca Black on BBC Radio 1

  • American hip-hop duo Joey Valence & Brae, consisting of Joseph Bertolino and Braedan Lugue, premiered a new song “SEE U DANCE” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.

This time, the duo teamed up with American singer-songwriter Rebecca Black on the track.
It marks the first collaboration between Joey Valence & Brae and Rebecca Black.
The song is the fourth and final pre-release single from their upcoming third studio album “HYPERYOUTH”, which is set to be released on August 15, 2025 via RCA Records.
It was written by Joey Valence & Brae, Lucas Banker, Patrick Nissley, and Rebecca Black. Produced by Joey Valence.

The duo said of the song, “We wanted to make something reminiscent of a 2000s club track and SEE U DANCE really begged for a catchy hook featuring a female vocalist. Rebecca came in and absolutely crushed it. We're big fans of what she's been doing in dance music and, more than that, who she is as a human and artist. This is an immediate club smasher and we're so excited for everyone to dance to it.”
  • The duo told Jack Saunders about the song, “It's truly a dance floor banger. Get on the dance floor and sweat, baby. She's such a sweet girl. Shout out, Rebecca Black. First of all, the song is incredible. And I mean, she fit the bill perfectly. We wanted a song that sounded like a mid 2000s like Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, bouncy type thing, and she fit it perfect.”

They continued, “She said it back so, like immediately, and it was already perfect, like I had to do basically nothing to it. She just absolutely killed it, and she fit the spot perfectly.”

  • The new album comprises 14 tracks, featuring guest appearances from Rebecca Black and JPEGMAFIA, produced by Joey Valence.
It is their first release under new label RCA Records.

The duo said, “We built ourselves up so that when we signed to a label, We had the power, not them. RCA was built on alternative music and letting their artists do their own thing. They are the only people who we knew were the right partner. There is something in our contract that literally states we have full creative control and final say on any decision. And still... Every track written by JVB. Every track produced by Joey Valence. Every decision made by JVB.”
