Casii Stephan Releases New Song “King in America” featuring Damion Shade
Tulsa-based singer-songwriter Casii Stephan released a new song “King in America” on July 4, 2025.
On the track, Casii Stephan teamed up with American singer-songwriter Damion Shade.
The song is a hard-hitting and explosive rock-drenched protest song against the perils of fascism and the current administration.
It was written by Casii Stephan and Damion Shade. Produced by Chad Copelin.
The accompanying music video was directed by Taylor Town.
The video features Tye Slagle on guitar, Sean Ammons on bass, and Matthew Edwards on drums.
She said, “Inspired by grunge and industrial vibes along with 90’s and early 00’s aesthetic it’s a fun ride.”- Casii Stephan said of the song, "I'm mad. I was raised to believe in God's divine plan for America. That the monarchy was never meant for us. And now... they want a monarchy. They want to threaten my trans friends' lives and make them unwelcome in Oklahoma. They want to deport people who are near and dear to my family. They want to pick on the minority. Well, pick on me. I'm the majority. We're the majority. And if they think this country will go down without a fight? Darlings. We already won this war. I guess it's time to remember who we are. The home of the brave and the land of the free."
