Syd Premieres New Song “Die For This” on BBC Radio 1
American singer-songwriter Syd premiered a new song “Die For This” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.
The song is her first solo music in three years since the 2022 album “Broken Hearts Club”.
As the single, it follows the collaborative song “Hey Girl(s)” with Meshell Ndegeocello and Moses Sumney, which was released back in February.
The track was written by Sarah Aarons and Sydney Loren Bennett. Produced by Syd.
Syd told Jack Saunders about the song, “It's about perseverance. I'd say, persevering through hard times in a relationship and getting to the other side of it and being glad you did.”- She continued, “For one, I know that they would do the same for me. And I can say that this is probably the relationship that I've learned the most about myself from. It's not always easy, but like the decision to say, now, let's keep trying. Let's try to figure this out has been really worth it.”
