ROSIE Announces Debut Album “City Woman”, Shares New Song “Turn Red”
New York-based singer-songwriter ROSIE has announced her upcoming debut album “City Woman” will be released on August 15, 2025 via Arista Records.
The album comprises 15 tracks, including 5 songs from the 2024 EP “What Scares Me The Most”, produced by Afterhrs, Gian Stone, and Sam de Jong.
From the album, she released a new song “Turn Red” on July 18, 2025.
The song follows “Mr. Blue Jeans” and “City Woman”.
“Turn Red” is a delightfully uncomplicated vision of blossoming romance.
It was written by Andrew Haas, Ian Franzino, and Rosaileen Scher. Produced by Afterhrs.
ROSIE said of the song, “'Turn Red' is about the feeling you get when you’re falling in love for the first time, when you wish you could make time stop just to spend one more minute with someone. Love has always been scary and complicated to me, but this is a story of that simple euphoria that comes with the honeymoon phase. I’ve learned that when you really love someone, you’ll hope every car ride never ends.”- She said of the album, “This album is the story of the last three years of my life, the different cities I’ve stayed in, and the lessons I’ve learned about myself in each one. One city taught me how to lose someone with grace, one taught me how to love someone with caution, and, most importantly, one taught me how to love myself with no conditions.”
