Avery Lynch Releases New Song “Sweetheart”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Avery Lynch will release her upcoming EP this September.
The EP is her first project in a year since the 2024 EP “As Written, Vol. 2”.
From the EP, she released the final pre-release single “Sweetheart” on July 18, 2025.
The track offers a bittersweet reflection on how toxic relationships can distort our understanding of love.
Through layered harmonies and strikingly self-aware lyricism, Avery explores the difficulty of unlearning unhealthy patterns, and the vulnerability that comes with recognizing what real care should feel like.
It was written by Avery Nichole Lynch, Jordan Van Hecke, and Neisha Grace. Produced by Avery Lynch and Jordanlilvee.- Avery Lynch said of the song, “'Sweetheart' reflects on the early days of my relationship and how quickly I realized that what I'd accepted in the past wasn't love. I remember being surprised, and embarrassingly impressed, by him asking me follow-up questions, walking me home, and genuinely wanting me around. It was eye-opening to be with someone who cared about me and wasn't afraid to show it.”
She continued, “I wrote this one with my boyfriend Jordan and our close friend Neisha Grace. Producing the track with Jordan afterwards felt like a really full-circle moment.” -
She shared on social media, “This is the last single before the EP and I’m so excited for u to have the whole thing. This song was so much fun to make, it’s so sweet and sarcastic but u can also cry to it and I just love it so much :) Let this song be a reminder to raise your standards !!”
