Picture Parlour Premieres New Song “Talk About It” on BBC Radio 6
British indie rock band Picture Parlour, consisting of Katherine Parlour (vocals/guitar) and Ella Risi (guitar), premiered a new song “Talk About It” on BBC Radio 6 Music with Steve Lamacq.
The song is their third single since the 2024 EP “Face In The Picture”, following “Cielo Drive” and “Who's There To Love Without You?”.
It was written by Ella Risi, Jackson Phillips, and Katherine Parlour. Produced by Gabe Simon.
The accompanying music video was filmed during the band's trip to Tokyo, Japan. It is reminiscent of Sofia Coppola's 2003 film “Lost in Translation”.
The band said of the song, “At a certain point, writing this song stopped feeling like an escape and started feeling like a mantra. Talk About It said everything we couldn't be bothered to explain anymore. You can bring a horse to water but who knows if it's going to drink? So instead we fucked off the horse and wrote an anthem for letting go. And now we want to share that euphoria with you.”- Picture Parlour is currently embarking on a UK grassroots venue tour in association with Music Venue Trust.
They will perform a sold-out show at The George Tavern in London on July 23, 2025.
After the show, they will perform at Signature Brew Blackhorse Road in London on August 2, and at Projekts Skate Park in Manchester on August 29, 2025.
