Holly Humberstone & Asha Banks Team Up for New Version of “Dive”
British singer-songwriter Holly Humberstone joined forces with British actress and singer-songwriter Asha Banks to release a new version of “Dive” on July 25, 2025.
This marks the first collaboration between Holly Humberstone and Asha Banks.
The original version of the song was featured on her 2024 EP “Work in Progress”.
It was written by Holly Ffion Humberstone, and Rob Milton, who also produced the track.
Last year, Asha Banks discovered this song while filming the romantic film “My Fault: London”, directed by Dani Girdwood and Charlotte Fassler, and loved it. And then, the song was used in the film's ending scene and included on the soundtrack.
Holly Humberstone said, “I had the pleasure of meeting & working with Asha a couple months back after Dive was featured on the My Fault: London sound track & I very quickly became a fan of hers. I asked her if she'd be down to record a new version of the song with me and im so excited for you all to hear it !! Asha's dreamy vocals are unmatched and it's been so cool to hang out & hear my song reimagined by someone sooo amazing.”- Asha Banks said, “While I was filming a movie called 'My Fault: London' last year, Holly released 'Dive' and I became obsessed immediately, put it on my story and showed it to my directors who, like me, also loved it. A few months later I found out it was going to be in the movie - in the credits, just before my own song 'Feel The Rush' played! Every time I watch the film I get emotional hearing Dive play, so when Holly asked me to record a new version of the song with her it felt like such a full circle moment. Holly's writing and voice is so magical and I feel so lucky to be alongside her on this new version- so I hope you love it as much as I do.”
