Daniel Seavey Releases New Song “Blame It On You”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Daniel Seavey released a new song “Blame It On You” on August 1, 2025.
The song is the his first music since his debut solo album “Second Wind”, which was released back in March.
As the single, the track follows the July release of “Eden”, which appeared on the vinyl edition of the debut solo album.
The track was written by Andrew Wells, Daniel Seavey, and Emma Rosen. Produced by Andrew Wells and Daniel Seavey.
Daniel Seavey said of the song, “At first, this song was just a cheeky take on giving into temptation. But the more I listened back to it, the more it resonated on a deeper level with me. It turned into a quiet shedding of shame - a line drawn in the sand for myself. It’s the first time in a while I let something a little rough around the edges stay that way.”- He continued, “Honestly I'm both terrified and excited for you guys to hear it. I am proud of what this song says. I’m proud of the permission it gave me. And I’m most thankful for the safe space y’all have created for me - for us - to be able to talk about whatever it is we feel we need to talk about. Anyways I love y’all so much. and I really hope you love this song.”
