Ruth Royall Announces Debut Album “Queen”, Premieres New Song “Forevermore” on BBC Radio 1
Bristol-based drum and bass singer-songwriter Ruth Royall has announced her debut album “Queen” will be released on October 17, 2025 via her own label Royall Sound.
The album comprises 10 tracks, produced by Ruth Ellen Royall, Brad Ellis, and Joe Lenzie.
From the album, she premiered the first single called “Forevermore” on BBC Radio 1's Future Artists with Sian Eleri.
The track was written and produced by Brad Ellis, Joe Lenzie, and Ruth Ellen Royall.
She will perform the song at Bass Camp in London on July 18, and at Tomorrowland in Boom on July 25, 2025.
Ruth Royall shared, “This is insane. Someone pinch me. This is actually me announcing my DEBUT ALBUM!!! QUEEN drops on the 17th of October on my own label Royall Sound with the lead single 'Forevermore'. Co-written with the insanely talented Bradford Ellis and produced by the equally insanely talented Joe Lenzie. I have so much to say about this song and this project but I'll save that for late. Here she is. The first instalment of Queen.”- She shared on social media before announcing the album, “I've been working on something special over the past few months and it's time to share it with you all. In all honestly and speaking from the heart I've been struggling to make sense of everything. I made a pact to myself at the start of the year that I was going to remain true to myself and be exactly who I wanted to be and honestly, that has been tough. I've had some rejections, my ideas just kept getting turned down and it's made me wonder: is this right for me anymore? Becoming a mum has left me questioning where I really fit into this music world. I've been desperate to do my own thing and make music that felt good but every time I presented my ideas it felt like I was banging on closed doors.”

She continued, “At the end of last year something really profound happened. I went to sing for my good friends Technimatic. I sang a song that has a huge amount of meaning to me and when I sang it I felt such a deep connection to the real music community. When I say real music community, I mean the listeners, the ravers, the music makers and I remembered why I do what I do. It's for them and it's for me. So that's what I'm doing. I'm being me and I'm making the music that makes me feel good and I'm giving it to you, the ravers and the music lovers.”
She added, “If you've got this far then thank you. And here is the big news! I stuck to my guns and have just signed the biggest deal of my career!! I have the freedom and support to make EXACTLY WHAT I WANT TO MAKE I'm pinching myself. I still can't quite believe that after all this time and after all those closed doors and rejections I'm able to be authentically myself. So this is for my family, for Harry, for the ravers, the music lovers and me.”
