Steven Bamidele Announces New Album “THE CRASH!”, Shares New Song “Cuckoo Goes the Clock” featuring Cam Thomas
London-based singer-songwriter Steven Bamidele has announced his upcoming sophomore album “THE CRASH!” will be released on September 5, 2025.
It marks his first album in two years since the 2023 debut album “Summing Up”.
From the album, he released a new song “Cuckoo Goes the Clock” on June 19, 2025.
The song is the third single off of the album, following “Exoskeleton” and “The Fool”.
On the track, he teamed up with British rapper Cam Thomas.
The song is a groove-laced, lyrically sharp track, exploring the mob mentality that follows an unwelcome disruption to daily life, bursting the apathetic bubble many choose to live in.
It was written by Cameron Thomas, Dave Bryce, and Steven Barker.
Steven Bamidele said of the song, “I can FINALLY say that this is the 3rd single from my next album 'THE CRASH!'. It was originally something completely differen. Once I stumbled across this one drum loop in the edit, the entire feel of the song shifted. It just snapped into place.”- The new album comprises 12 tracks, featuring guest appearances from Cam Thomas, Célia Tiab, Sly5thAve, Scarlett Fa, and Aaron Wood.
It is a sonically rich concept album exploring themes of purpose, doubt and searching for meaning in an imperfect world.
Throughout the release, he examines his relationship with creativity through an allegorical story of forbidden love.
