Jordan Anthony Returns With New Song “Reckless”
Los Angeles-based Australian singer-songwriter Jordan Anthony returned with a brand new song “Reckless” on August 14, 2025.
The song is his first solo music in a year and a half since “Nights Like These”.
As the single, the song is the follow-up to the collaborative single “CHERRY” with Ajii, which was released back in May.
Originally, the song was crafted as a pitch for another artist. But finally, it was released as his original song.
The track represents groove-forward pop with emotional edge.
It was written by Gannin Duane Arnold, Jordan Anthony Rabbone, Samantha Elizabeth Blanchard, and Emile Ghantous, who produced the track.
Jordan Anthony said of the song, “It just hit too close to home. That rush of falling hard, maybe even a little too hard, for someone who makes you feel a bit unhinged-in the best way. We wanted it to feel singable, emotional, but fun and addictive. That late-night-drive, scream-the-lyrics kind of track.”- He shared on social media, “I love you guys so much and I’m so excited to finally be releasing music again. It’s been an insanely topsy turvy 12 months but that’s what makes today so special. Wanna give a huge shoutout to Emile Ghantous and SAM SZND for writing this one with me I love u guys, such insanely talented humans and so grateful that you believe in me and what I'm doing. And to all of you, I love you guys so much. you’ll never have to wait this long for music ever again and hopefully you’ll have to beg me to slow the releases down coz we’re just starting.”
