  • Paul Weller Premieres Cover of Hamish Imlach's “Clive's Song” featuring Robert Plant on BBC Radio 6

  • British singer-songwriter Paul Weller premiered a cover of Scottish folk singer-songwriter Hamish Imlach's “Clive's Song” on BBC Radio 6 with Huw Stephens.

On the track, Paul Weller teamed up with British singer-songwriter and former Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant.
The song is taken from his upcoming covers album “Find El Dorado”, which is set to be released on July 25, 2025.
The original version of the song was recorded for Hamish Imlach's 1971 album “Old Rarity”. Also, the song is featured on the 2006 album “Cod Liver Oil and Orange Juice - The Transatlantic Anthology”.
The track was written by Clive Palmer. Yae cover version was produced by Steve Cradock.
This time, Paul Weller invited Robert Plant to join him on the track because Plant is an avowed folk and blues aficionado.
In addition to vocals, Robert Plant played harmonica on the track.
  • The new album comprises 15 tracks, featuring guest appearances from Hannah Peel, Declan O'Rourke, Robert Plant, Seckou Keita, Amelia Coburn, and Noel Gallagher. Produced by Steve Cradock of Ocean Colour Scene.

Paul Weller said of the album, “These are songs I've carried with me for years. They've taken on new shapes over time. And now felt like the moment to share them.”
