  • Alessi Rose Announces New EP “Voyeur”, Shares New Song “Same Mouth”

  • London-based indie pop singer-songwriter Alessi Rose has announced her upcoming third EP “Voyeur” will be released on July 25, 2025.

The EP is the follow-up to “For Your Validation”, which was released back in January.
From the EP, she released a new song “Same Mouth” on May 16, 2025.
The song received its first play during BBC Radio 1's Future Pop with Maia Beth.
It was written by Sam de Jong, Alessi Rose, and Billy Walsh. Produced by Josh Scarbrow and Sam de Jong.
The accompanying music visual and lyric video was directed by Emanuele Cantò.

Alessi Rose said of the song, “'Same Mouth’ is me confronting the hypocrisy of an ambiguous relationship but also it’s about abandonment of self and how, to me, if I’m aware of what I’m letting myself in for, then maybe I’m not the victim, and maybe I’m actually in control.”
  • Alessi Rose told Maia Beth about the song, “It is about hypocrisy in casual relationships. And I was kind of like joking earlier, being like, the whole song is me kind of being angry with like, 'If you don't want a relationship, why do you keep kissing me?' Like you can stop at any time and you're choosing to continue. So let's just unpack that for a little bit. And that was where the song came from. It was kind of like, I feel like casual relationships and kind of ambiguity is so prominent these days.”

She added, “In this song, it’s the bluntness and desire to say exactly what I mean, even if that makes people uncomfortable, that I think is an overarching theme that threads throughout the whole Voyeur EP. Voyeur is about letting u, the listener, in on the deep dark & personal & being comfortable with being watched/understood in that way.”

  • The new EP comprises 8 tracks, on which Alessi Rose worked with producers John Hill and Sammy Witte.

Alessi Rose said of the EP, “In my EP ‘Voyeur’, the voyeurism is twofold. The audience becomes a voyeur of my innermost thoughts and feelings through the music, but additionally I am a voyeur of myself and my own, sometimes self-sabotaging, decisions. I wanted this EP to feel like the unfiltered version of events that you tell your closest friends and I feel like the bluntness and stream of consciousness lyrics reflect that. I don’t care how I’m perceived because I trust the listener.”

She shared on social media, “Voyeur is about allowing my most introspective thoughts/feelings/downfalls be observed by you, the audience, as though i’m letting u in on my most intimate musings, or damaging habits. But that voyeurism is twofold, as there’s also the side of me being a voyeur of myself, watching my own self-sabotaging habits & accepting them with humour & awareness.”

She continued, “This EP has predominantly been made at the beginning of this year whilst feeling overwhelmingly loved, but also scrutinised/understood/misunderstood & all of the lessons i learned whilst feeling that way. Voyeur is about how sometimes it’s good to revel in all the gritty sadism that comes with the winning and the losing out.”
