Keyawna Nikole Releases New Song “Bleed” featuring Lil Wayne
Los Angeles-based alt-rock singer-songwriter Keyawna Nikole joined forces with American rapper Lil Wayne to release a new song “Bleed” on July 15, 2025.
This marks the first collaboration between Keyawna Nikole and Lil Wayne.
For Keyawna Nikole, the song is the second single of 2025, following “Bury Me” released last month. Both songs will appear on her upcoming debut album.
Meanwhile, for Lil Wayne, the track is his second metal and pop-punk collaborative single this year, following Young Money's “TYRANT” with Lucifena, which was released last month.
The track was written by Cody Benjamin, Dwayne Carter, Keyawna Nikole Harris, and Rob Cavallo. Produced by Rob Cavallo and Cody Benjamin.
The accompanying music video was directed by Parke Fox and filmed in Los Angeles.
In the clip, Lil Wayne performed both vocals and guitar, as with his recently collaborative song “Tree” with American rapper Chance the Rapper.
Keyawna Nikole said of the song, “Bleed is coming for you this summer. I can't stop watching the music video over and over it's going to blow your minds!!! I've spent the past year creating an insane album with the iconic Rob Cavallo and Cody Benjamin that I'm grateful everyday for. I promise the records were so worth the wait! I'm beyond grateful everyday for Lil Wayne and the rockstar he truly is.”- Keyawna Nikole told DIGITAL JOURNAL about the song, “Bleed is actually the second song I made with Rob Cavallo and Cody Benjamin during our first time meeting ever! It's insane because he is such an icon in the production of the rock genre, that to not only make one song but two and have them tracked within an hour just off of natural instinct and vibe is unheard of! 'Bleed' is my deepest darkest thoughts pouring out for everyone to hear and see, I actually free-styled the entire song and had it tracked within 20 minutes, it was the real raw emotion I was feeling and still continue to feel.”

She continued, “Wayne is one of the most genuine human beings I have the pleasure of knowing. Not only is he a musical genius but he makes a collaboration more than just a song. Collaborating with Wayne is an empowering feeling, it's the feeling of tears of joy running down your face because you got a text that says 'I'm your biggest fan' after listening to a draft you sent, it truly has helped me embody a level of confidence I never felt before.”
