Bicycle Inn Releases New Song “Ordinary Hell”
Boston-based emo band Bicycle Inn, consisting of Declan Moloney (bass), Noah Aguiar (guitar/vocals), Dylan Ilkowitz (guitar/vocals), Gilmar Perez (lead guitar) and Josh Giaquinto (drums), released a new song “Ordinary Hell” on October 10, 2025.
The song is the second single, following September's comeback song “Longsword (4th Place)”, which marked their first release in two years since the 2022 album “Baldr the Beautiful is Dead, is Dead.”.
It was written by Declan Moloney, Dylan Ilkowitz, Gilmar Perez, Noah Aguiar, and Tom Pompei.
The band recorded over two sessions with Gary Cioni at Soundacres Studio during 2023 and 2024, featuring guest appearances from Ryan O'Rourke, Kyle Kinney, and Maggie Ciora.
The track explores faith, exhaustion, and the search for meaning amid emotional and spiritual burnout.- The band said of the song, “'Ordinary Hell' is a critique on the dead-faith culture of today. It's a deeper look behind the curtain of evangelical emptiness - a gospel presiding over the endless push and pull of suffering, only for those deemed 'blessed' and 'filled' to realize they are empty. It's a reflection on the cyclical nature of relying on others to fulfill you, only to immediately empty yourself out again. There's no rest, no rejuvenation - only the gospel of self; performative holiness.”
