Chloe Qisha Premieres New Song “So Sad So Hot” on BBC Radio 1

London-based singer-songwriter Chloe Qisha premiered a new song “So Sad So Hot” on BBC Radio 1's Future Pop with Jodie Bryant.
The song is the first single since the EP “Modern Romance”, which was released back in May.
It was written by Caroline Ailin, Chloe Qi Sha Lim, and Rob Milton, who also produce the track.
She has already filmed a music video for the song, which will premiere on October 16, 2025.
Also, the song will appear on her upcoming project.
Chloe Qisha said of the song, “‘So Sad So Hot’ is a playful take on heartbreak - finding yourself in the throes of sadness whilst being the most magnetic person in the room. I wanted to write a song about wearing sadness as an accessory, letting it empower you instead of it dragging you down. I like to think that this song is an assertive reminder that you’re still that bad bitch even if you’ve had your heart broken. This song is the opener to a new era for me, and I’m so excited she’s coming in with a bang.”- Chloe Qisha told Jodie Bryant about the song, “It was the last song we wrote on the very last day of my very first writing trip to LA. We wrote it in like three hours with a dream writer of mine, Caroline Ailin, who does a lot of like Dua Lipa stuff. And it was just like a incredibly magical experience. And right after we wrote it, Rob and I, my producer, we literally just went straight to the airport and jetted back to London. So she was very, very quick into the world. But I think the best songs are.”

She shared on social media, “Written with my absolute favs Rob Milton and Caroline Ailin. We wrote this on the last day of my first writing trip to LA a year ago. I think this song was the beginning of a new chapter for me, and I'm so excited for her to finally be out in the world!”
Chloe Qisha told Jodie Bryant about the new project, “I think season two is going to be a bit sadder and a bit hotter. She's gonna be a bit more risque, I think. But for the better, we want to push boundaries here. And I'm so happy she's coming in with a bang.”
