Lala Lala Returns WIth New Song “Does This Go Faster?”
American singer-songwriter Lillie West, aka Lala Lala returned with a new song “Does This Go Faster?” on October 15, 2025.
The song is her first music in a year and a half since the album “if i were a real man i would be able to break the neck of a suffering bird”, which was release last April.
Also, it is the first release under her new label Sub Pop Records. Lillie West signed to Sub Pop Records recently.
Lillie West wrote the song with co-producer Melina Duterte.
The track features Melina Duterte on bass/synthesizers/guitar, Abby Black on drums, and Sen Morimoto on saxophone.
The accompanying music video was directed by Jackson James.- Lillie West said of the song, “I blew up my life and spent two years with my things in storage, traveling around. I wrote this in Iceland during the time I started to feel a little like... What did I do? What happened? What now?”
