MAX Releases New Song “LOVE INSANE” featuring ENHYPEN's Jay
American singer-songwriter MAX teamed up with South Korean boy band ENHYPEN's Jay to release a new song “LOVE INSANE” on July 18, 2025.
This marks the first collaboration between MAX and Jay.
For MAX, the song is the fourth music with K-POP, following the 2020 “Blueberry Eyes” featuring Suga, the 2024 “Stupid in Love”featuring Huh Yunjin and the 2025 “GET IN THE RING” from “GOOD BOY” South Korean original television soundtrack.
The track was written by Brandon Colbein, David Wilson, MAX, and Michael Cody Dear. Produced by MAX and dwilly.
The accompanying music video was directed by Miles Murphy and filmed in Seoul.
MAX said of the song, “This song's been a labor of love (pun intended) for almost two years. It started with Jay and I grabbing dinner in Seoul with friends, bonding over our shared love of soul and blues music. He was kind, easy to talk to, and the vibe was just right. About a year later, I co-wrote Love Insane with some of my favorite consistent collaborators (Brandon, Cody, and Dwilly shout out I love you guys). I could hear Jay's voice on it with me so I sent it over to him and his team. He loved the song and jumped right on it.”- He continued, “Filming the video together in Seoul was such a full circle moment. Jay's work ethic is next-level. He gave everything to every take, and so did our crew. We all poured a lot into this. We hope you have so much fun watching the video, enjoying the song, and dancing around to it wherever you are in the world.
