  • KiLLOWEN Premieres New Song “ALL 2 U” on BBC Radio 1

  • London-based singer-songwriter KiLLOWEN premiered a new song “ALL 2 U” on BBC Radio 1's New Music Show with Jack Saunders.

The song is his first music since the EP “six missed calls”, which was released back in January.
The track samples “My Boo”, which was released by American hip-hop/Miami bass group Ghost Town DJ's in 1996.
It was written by Owen Pickston, Tyler Hotston, Carlton Mahone, and Rodney Terry. Produced by RELYT.

KiLLOWEN told Jack Saunders about the song, “I wrote this song because i was missing my ex.”
He said of sampling, “It's gotta hit me in a certain way. If it sparks something in me, it doesn't even have to be a famous record. It could be anything. Like the other day, I was sampling, and then some panpipes from TikTok. It hasn't gone anywhere yet. But my point being is that these things, the only thing they have in common really is that it just will start like a chain reaction in my head of, 'Oh, I can hear that there.' And then, it goes on.”
  • He said of his music, “I just think I have a lot to say a lot of the time, but I just wanted to kind of give like people like me and just anyone who would listen, really just sort of outlet. And to be honest, I'd be lying. If I said, Oh, it's for everyone else. It's more for me. I just feel like I needed to kind of narrate my life in a certain way. And I love making music, and it kind of just evolved into something that is today. I can't say I've planned it too much, but that's why I think it feels quite down to earth, because I'm not trying to hit something that isn't there already. I think I'm just trying to just be like, 'Oh, this is what I do.' These are my points of references. This is like, what I've grown up on in my life, etc, etc.”
