Martin Garrix & Alesso Team Up for New Song “Inside Our Hearts” featuring Shaun Farrugia
Dutch DJ Martin Garrix and Swedish DJ Alesso teamed up to release a new song “Inside Our Hearts” on July 25, 2025.
Two DJs recruited London-based singer-songwriter Shaun Farrugia on the track.
This marks the first collaboration between Martin Garrix and Alesso. But Martin Garrix worked with Shaun Farrugia on the 2022 “Starlight (Keep Me Afloat)” and the 2024 “Wherever You Are”, both collaborations with Dutch DJ duo DubVision.
Martin Garrix and Alesso first performed the song at Ultra Music Festival in Miami in 2023, and officially debuted at Ultra Europe 2025.
The song will appear on Martin Garrix's upcoming EP “ORIGO”, which is set to be released in September 2025.
Martin Garrix called it “the final missing piece”, as “ORIGO” is the last release in a trilogy, following the 2022 album “Sentio” and the 2024 EP “IDEM”.
The track was written by Alessandro Renato Rodolfo Lindblad, Giorgio Tuinfort, Martijn Garritsen, and Shaun Farrugia. Produced by Martin Garrix and Alesso.
The accompanying music video was filmed at Ultra Europe 2025.- Martin Garrix said of the song, “Finally giving the people what they want. 2 years later but we're here for it. 'Inside Our Hearts' is in fact alive. Premiered the final version at Ultra Europe last night and it was special.”
Alesso said, “After being very close friends for so many years, Martin and I have finally joined forces. We wanted to make a song that felt timeless.
