Tame Impala Returns With New Song “End Of Summer”
Australian singer-songwriter Kevin Parker's psychedelic music project Tame Impala returned with a new song “End Of Summer” on July 25, 2025.
The song is their first solo music in two years since the 2023 “Journey To The Real World” from the 2023 film “Barbie” soundtrack “Barbie The Album”.
Also, it is the first release under their new label Columbia Records.
According to a press release, the new project would be “kind of a future primitive rave act” and follows the 2020 album “The Slow Rush”.
Kevin Parker first performed the song during a surprise DJ set at Nitsa Club in Barcelona back in June.
At that time, he said, “You guys want to hear a new song? You want to hear a new Tame Impala song? You're going to be the first ones to hear it, you realize? There's no going back from this point on, you realize?”
The track was written and produced by Kevin Parker. The accompanying music video was directed by Julian Klincewicz.- Kevin Parker said of the song, “A new era begins. This is the first thing I want you guys to hear. I give you End Of Summer. As is tradition, go and find your favourite sound system. The video was shot in a place even dustier than my drum sounds. Hope you like it. Off we goooooo.”
