  • Blush Announces New Album “Beauty Fades, Pain Lasts Forever”, Shares New Song “X My Heart”

  • Singaporean dream-pop band Blush, consisting of Soffi Peters (vocals), Daniel Pei (bass), and Darell Laser (guitar), is back. The band has announced their upcoming sophomore album “Beauty Fades, Pain Lasts Forever” will be released on August 1, 2025.

The album is their first LP in two years since the 2023 debut album “Supercrush” and comprises 10 tracks.
Also, it is the first release under their new label Kanine Records.
The new album explores life's bittersweet moments with intricately crafted compositions that swirl between dreamscapes and erratic noise.
On the album, the band recorded with their longtime collaborator Jared Lim, who handled production and played guitar.
From the album, the band released a new song “X My Heart” on June 18, 2025.
The song is accompanied by the Goh Koon How-directed music video.
It was written by Soffi Klodii Peters, and Jared Lim, who also produced the track.
  • The band lead singer Soffi Peters said of the song, “The 'L' word doesn't always show up innocently. It can be an unholy obsession, and that doesn't make it any less pure. We're always driven to hide things that don't look pretty, but as long as you're true there's grace in that."
She added, “Koon How creates videos with a lived-in quality that feels like a feeling you've felt before.”

The band embarks on American Tour this summer. The tour kicks off at Moroccan Louge in Los Angeles, CA on August 17 and will conclude at Pie Shop in Washington, DC on August 31, 2025.
