Mustard Service Releases New Song “2 AM”
Miami-based indie rock band Mustard Service, consisting of Marco Rivero (vocals/rhythm guitar), Leo Cattani (keyboard), Adam Perez (drums), Augusto Di Catarina (bass) and Gabriel Marinuchi (guitar), released a new song “2 AM” on June 27, 2025.
The song is the fourth single off of their upcoming fourth studio album “Vice City Magic”, which is set to be released on July 18, 2025.
The track reflects the cultural roots of its members, is sung entirely in Spanish.
Rich with poetic imagery and romantic nostalgia, the song reflects on the quiet magic between two people who know their time together is borrowed.
It's a hauntingly beautiful track about love, trust, and the spaces we fill in each other's lives, if only for a moment.
The track was written by Marco Rivero, Leo Cattani, and Adam Perez. Produced by Chad Copelin.- The band said of the song, “The later it is, the easier it is to feel close to someone. It's beautiful because it's fleeting, not despite it.”
The new album comprises 12 tracks, featuring a guest appearance from JW Francis, produced by Chad Copelin. It is their first album in two years since the 2023 album “Variety Pack”.
The record deepens their genre-blurring approach while embracing intimacy and storytelling with more nuance than ever before. -
