  • Young Martyrs Releases New Song “Everyone Else Disappears”

  • Bath-based alt-rock band Young Martyrs, consisting of Tom Corneill (vocals/guitar), Rich Beeby (bass), Lee Cole (drums) and Simon Whitehead (guitar), released a brand new song “Everyone Else Disappears” on June 20, 2025.

Originally, the song was featured on their sophomore album “Time Is Not On Our Side” in 2023. But the album is not currently available on streaming platforms. The band has announced that it will be back soon.
The track was produced with Sebastian Brice (Indefra Studios) at Real World Studios with additional recording by Ed Oleszko at Vintage Tone Factory.
The track combines introspective lyrics and nostalgia-laden melodies, lyrically delving into the feelings surrounding unrequited love.
The accompanying music video was directed by Woodbox Productions.

The band lead singer Tom Corneill said of the song, “These are the words of someone who's been looking at the object of their affection for too long and from too far away. He wants to know what life would look like if they shared it, but it's a dream that's just too far away; Too many rules, too many people in the way. This is the song that spills out of him when it's becoming too much. It's the life you could have if only that person knew what was happening inside your head.”
  • The band shared on social media, “Ok, long time fans will know that this song has been in the ether for a while now but we always wanted to make a video for it, and then the song disappeared from streaming platforms when bots raided our streams and a whole album ceased to exist. The great news is it meant we got to rerelease the song as a single - complete with brand new video, courtesy of the brilliant Woodbox Productions - and that day is finally here.”
