Sam Fender & Olivia Dean Team Up for New Version of “Rein Me In”
British singer-songwriter Sam Fender joined forces with London-based singer-songwriter Olivia Dean to release a new version of “Rein Me In” on June 20, 2025.
This marks the first collaboration between Sam Fender and Olivia Dean.
The original version of the song is featured on his third studio album “People Watching”, which was released backing February.
This time, Olivia Dean has written a new verse for the song. The pair first performed the song at London Stadium earlier this month to 80,000 fans.
It was written by Max Wolfgang, Olivia Dean, and Sam Fender.Produced by Sam Fender and Markus Dravs.
The accompanying music video was directed by Daniel Broadley.- Sam Fender said of the song, “If I collaborate with another artist on one of my songs, I prefer they write a new part and make it their own, rather than singing whatever I've already written. Olivia added a female perspective to 'Rein Me In', and I think it's all the better for it. Sharing the stage with her over these last few stadium shows has been a joy. I can't wait for people to have it.”
