Alan Walker Releases New Song “World of Walker: Rise of the Drones”
Norwegian DJ Alan Walker released a new song “World of Walker: Rise of the Drones” along with a music video on June 27, 2025.
The song is the follow-up to “Me, Myself and The Night”, which was released last month.
Also, the single was released ahead of releasing his new app called “World of Walker”, which is set to be released on August 8, 2025.
The track was written by Alan Walker, Fredrik Borch Olsen, Gunnar Greve, James Njie, Marcus Arnbekk, Mats Lie Skåre, and Phoebe Ryan.
Produced by Alan Walker, Kasper, and James Njie.
The accompanying video features footage he has released so far, including “Heading Home”, “On My Way”, “Alone Pt. II”, Tired”, “Faded”, Paradise”, “Sweet Dreams”, “Man on the Moon”, “Heart over Mind”, “Better Off (Alone, Pt. III)”, “All Falls Down”, “Darkside”, and “Diamond Heart”.- The app “World of Walker” is a custom app and online community tailored for his millions of global fans.
It will provide fans with immersive experiences, premium content, including Alan Walker's entire music and video catalog, behind-the-scenes footage, exclusive weekly live streams, direct chat, and more.
Alan Walker told Billboard about the app, “When I released 'Faded' in 2015, streaming was still in its early days. There was a sense of excitement, a new world opening up. But in the years since, the pace of the industry has exploded. Today, the landscape is crowded, noisy, and often overwhelming even for those of us with big followings and strong communities.” -
He continued, “The connection between artists and fans is starting to slip. Not because people care less, but because the systems we rely on don't prioritize or find space for meaningful content. The reasons most of us got into music in the first place.”
He added, “For one, we can speak freely, without worrying about algorithms or chasing virality. This app gives each person the chance to build their own World of Walker. They can find their people, join conversations that matter and stay connected to what truly resonates with them.” - source : Apple Music
