  • Ben Denny Mo Announces New EP “The Norfkl Tapes”, Shares New Song “September”

  • Gozo-based British singer-songwriter Ben Denny Mo has announced his upcoming vinyl EP “The Norfkl Tapes” will be released on October 10, 2025.

It is his first project in a year since the 2024 EP “Purple Face”.
From the EP, he released the first single called “September” on July 4, 2025.
The song is a vibrant love song written during a late summer in Gozo, capturing the bittersweet beauty of a fleeting summer romance.
It was written by Ben Brient and produced by Jack Murphy.

Ben Denny Mo said of the song, “The first single off the EP is September, a song about finding love over the summer, only for them to return home when September arrives. This one will get you up and dancing.”
  • The new EP comprises 8 tracks, which he recorded with producers Jack Murphy and Rhys Downing at a local studio in Norfolk.
The record reflects his journey with dyslexia, a challenge that led him to music as a creative refuge.

Ben Denny Mo said, “Managed to get back to UK and Norfolk recently to record some new tracks with Jack Murphy. Super excited by the songs and just waiting for final mixes. Plan is to combine these with previous recordings as part of long awaited album release.”

  • Ben Denny Mo was born in South London but grew up in Gozo, one of the Maltese islands.
After completing his music degree at Guildford Academy for Contemporary Music, Ben settled in North Norfolk.
In 2023 he returned to Gozo where he works as a chef by day, and as a musician at night, performing both solo, and with his band Barefoot Lions.
He regularly returns to his family home in Norfolk, and uses this time to record new tracks at Crystal Studios with Jack Murphy.
