London-based drum and bass band Rudimental, consisting of Piers Aggett (piano/synthesizer), Kesi Dryden (bass) and Leon 'Locksmith' Rolle (keyboard), joined forces with London-based singer-songwriter Jess Glynne to release a new song “Back To Me” on July 11, 2025.
This marks the third time Rudimental and Jess Glynne have worked together, following the 2018 single “These Days” and the 2019 “Dark Clouds”, which is featured on Rudimental's third studio album “Toast to Our Differences”.
Jess Glynne said, “It’s been a minute but we’re back and we got another for you!”
The song will appear on the band's fifth studio album “RUDIM3NTAL”, which is set to be released on August 22, 2025.
It was written by Chelcee Grimes, Janée Bennett, Jessica Glynne, Kesi Dryden, Leon Rolle, Piers Aggett, Sam Brennan, and Tom Hollings. Produced by Rudimental, Billen Ted, and Bunt.- The new album comprises 15 tracks, featuring collaborations with 1991, AR/CO, Jess Glynne, Karen Harding, Khalid, PNAU, Rudimental, Skepsis, Charlotte Plank, Clementine Douglas, Dr Meaker, Eva Lazarus, Flowdan, Liam Bailey, MIST, Mystic Marley, Popcaan, Rag’n’Bone Man, Riko Dan, RoRo, venbee and Vibe Chemistry.
Historically, the band has mixed electronic music production and live instrumentation. The album is a purer form of their signature sound, with live instruments playing an essential role. -
Rudimental said of the album, “What a journey it’s been. 20 years on and we’re still going strong, still pushing boundaries, and still doing what we love. This project means a lot to us, and we can’t wait for you to hear what we’ve been cooking up. Massive love to all the incredible artists and collaborators who’ve been part of bringing this record to life.” - source : Apple Music
